Director Of Senior Services
Job description: Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Program Services, the Director of Senior Services will have overall operational responsibility for all programs under the Senior Services Department, including the Adult Day Service (ADS), and In-Home Service (INH). They will have a deep knowledge of senior service operations and have excellent program leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and grow sustainable client impact for the older adults they serve. The position will be a part of the senior management team that drives the overall strategy for the organization and represents the Chinese American Service League on a local, regional, and national basis.
Early Learning Parent Co-Op Teacher
Job description: The teacher for the parent co-op will work with children who are ages birth to three and their parents in a part-time early childhood classroom. Staff will provide parents with parenting education workshops bi-monthly, and will model developmentally appropriate behaviors and ways of engaging children at each class session. Parents will increase their understanding of child development, and children will be exposed to experiences that foster their optimal development. Teachers may make referrals to other entities as appropriate.

Community Health Worker
Job description: Based in the primary care practice, the Medical Home Community Health Worker (MH CHW) will work with patients to improve self-management of diabetes, hypertension and mild/moderate depression through assessment, enhanced self-awareness, education, self-monitoring and eliminating barriers to self-care by screening and addressing social drivers of health.
In addition, the MH CHW will serve as a bridge between the patient, the medical system, and community-based organizations by building trusting relationships with community members served by the program. The MH CHW will also help in identifying barriers to accessing quality care, work with individuals to overcome these barriers, provide relevant referrals, follow-up with clients accordingly, and conduct home visits as needed.
